The Ouyoun Quran School was born out of Sr. Rayda's transformative experience of learning to read the Quran in its original Arabic language, which ignited a passion to share this gift with others. Undaunted by numerous challenges, including rejection and cultural barriers, she created a unique and inclusive learning environment. Her vision is to provide a nurturing space, led by compassionate educators, where individuals can uncover the profound beauty of the Quran. By offering resources free of charge, online, and with flexible scheduling, she empowers individuals from diverse backgrounds to embark on their Quranic journey, fostering a vibrant global community that celebrates the love for the Quran and its teachings. The name “Ouyoun Quran School”, meaning springs of Quranic Knowledge, reflects its mission to be a revitalizing source of spiritual growth and illumination for its learners.
Beyond technical mastery, the program also encourages students to reflect on the verses they recite, fostering a spiritual connection and love for the Quran. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the skills to recite the Quran accurately and melodiously, in a manner that honors its divine origin.
